Prepare your chain: Measure chain around wrist/ankle and mark link to cut for proper fit (not too tight or loose). Use cutters to cut open up marked link. Bend cut link ends apart with pliers, slide uncut link through.
Safety First: You and your customer should wear welding glasses and have the ADL darkening lens in place for eye safety. Place the chain on the customer. Use leather patch to protect skin from burns.
Weld the Link: Select welding power. Connect to the power source with alligator clip, grounded pliers, or tweezers. Hold link together and weld. Check the weld position and strength. If secure, polish the weld with a fiberglass brush.
