The mPulse is a simple, compact, and affordable welding system in an easy-to-use package. This model is designed to cater to a range of applications, with a special focus on permanent jewelry projects. It seamlessly fits into your workspace without taking up much room. Works amazingly well with gold, silver, and many other metals.
The revised Orion MPulse now includes Tru-Fire Technology™ advanced software, which greatly reduces misfires and improves welding consistency. At low energy levels (when welding with jump rings and fine chain) Tru-Fire Technology™ automatically adjusts energy flow based on the strength of the ground (how well the electrode is making contact with the jump ring or work piece).
Dual Zone Power Range provided half-Joule increments when under 15 Joules and full Joule increments above, which simplifies the energy selection. Depending upon the material you’re welding, the weld spot size on the smallest setting is nearly 0.5mm, and the largest setting of 30ws will yield a weld spot approximately 1.5mm in diameter. Delivers 1 weld per second.
With a 30 Joule power potential, the mPulse can be used by almost anyone and has the power to tackle all sorts of jobs. Don't Forget Argon! Your permanent jewelry operations must incorporate argon gas. With argon gas, your welds will be cleaner and stronger. Argon is used as a shielding gas to protect your welding against elements in the atmosphere, like oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen, creating strong welds.
