Laser glasses should always be worn by bystanders while the laser in in use. Our polycarbonate laser safety glasses are lightweight, economical and offer excellent protection. Comes complete with advanced anti-scratch coating making the lenses extremely durable and scratch resistant. They meet or exceed the ANSI Z136.1 and ANSI Z87.1 standards and protect for the wavelength of 1064nm which is the wavelength of our Sisma welders. Filter color is green. Lens type YAG. Visible Light Transmission (VLT) is 54%. Made in the USA. We also offer an OTG (Over The Glasses) style of safety glasses, which can be worn over most prescription glasses - see our 8161791.

Care: Laser glasses should always be worn while the laser is in use. Take care not to place the glasses lens side down on a surface as this might scratch them.
Storage: Glasses should be stored in a protective case when not in use.
Cleaning: Clean with commercially available alcohol-based lens wipes or use an anti-bacterial detergent or hand soap with no microbeads or grits added. Gently rub lenses and frames in straight lines (circular motions can damage coating) under clear running water to rinse with. This will also facilitate disinfection of the lenses and frames. Dry with a soft lint free cloth. Never use ammonia or chlorine-based cleaners.
Maintenance: Examine eyewear frequently. If lenses become pitted, chipped or in other ways damaged cease use immediately. End user maintenance limited to tightening of hinge screws.
