This attachment turns your Sherline Metric Lathe into a small milling machine for drilling, boring and many other general milling tasks. Converts lathe to mill in less than one minute.
Consists of a dovetailed vertical column with a solid aluminum base that fastens to the lathe bed in place of the headstock. Headstock mounts to a dovetailed saddle on the vertical column. Raise or lower saddle by turning a handwheel to change cutting depth in 0.01mm increments. Mount parts to be machined on the lathe’s cross slide.
