Bill Fretz designed this collet hammer set to raise and planish concave shapes in heavy-gauge metal, but you can also use these hammers for subtle texturing. The HMR-111M has two rounded faces, and the HMR-110M has one slightly domed face and one more rounded face to create a variety of shallow, concave shapes. Fretz casts their hammer heads from 420 stainless steel and tool hardens them to 50 HRC. The handles are made from oiled hardwood shaped and weighted to balance the head perfectly. Hammers also sold individually. Made in Vietnam.
