The EVE “Pop-On” plastic-back sanding discs are a unique, single-sided, and made with aluminum oxide grit and are ideal for the finishing of precious metals.   These thin, flexible, plastic backed pop-on discs can get into tight areas and will conform to surface contours making the polishing process quick, simple, and efficient.  Their translucent design lets you see your work through the disc for enhanced accuracy. These discs are also color coded for easy visibility (Blue=Coarse, Red=Medium, Yellow=Fine and White=Extra-Fine).  This starter set is 5/8" diameter discs and includes 25 of each Color/Grit as well as 1 Pop-On Mandrel.  Optimal speed is 7,000 – 10,000rpm (Max 20,000rpm).  Individual grits also available in the larger 7/8" and sold in Packs of 100.  All Pop-On Discs must use a Pop-On Mandrel and cannot use a standard Snap-On mandrel.  Pop-On mandrels are on 3/32" shanks and are sold in a Pack of 2.
