The vacuum-brazed bonding provides a much better adhesion of grits to the carrier thanks to direct fusing. These 3mm shanked, D427 grit diamond points are particularly suited for fiber reinforced materials such as GFR and CFR plastics (in aircraft construction and shipbuilding), tungsten carbide green components (unsintered carbide), ceramics (valve cover rings for car engines), coal products (brake discs, carbon brushes), titanium and cast materials. Overall length: 55mm
Benefits of this new vacuum-brazed bonding include:
• Very good stock removal thanks to higher grit protrusion
• Allows production of more complex forms, e.g. inner radiuses
• Markedly better grit retention force
• Cooler grinding thanks to larger chipping spaces
