Product Description

Considered the fastest version of Castaldo silicone jewelry mold rubber, Rapido™ can speed up your work significantly and efficiently. Rapido cures into tough, strong production rubber molds in as little as 15 minutes so you can get your models into production fast. 1/2" molds are fully cured in 10 minutes, 3/4" molds in 15 minutes and 1" molds in just 20 minutes. Like all Castaldo Silicone Rubbers, Rapido™ makes detailed wax injection with an extraordinarily shiny surface that requires less finishing. Waxes are self releasing and molds need no release spray or powder. Vulcanize at 185-200°F / 85-93°C. Makes molds with a rubber shrinkage rate of only 0.1%.  Sold in boxes of 5 lbs. of strips measuring approximately 2-7/8"W x 18"L. Made in Thailand.
