This ARBE unit is unique because it is a variable speed polishing motor with a down draft dust collector.  Instead of allowing the particulate, which naturally falls onto the base panel, in this unit, the debris gets captured by the filter.  That leaves your work area cleaner and you might even notice better results when you reclaim the filters for their precious metals. The conveniently sized 18-1/4"W x 19"D x 16-14"H unit is constructed of steel and has a powder coated finish.  Weighs 96lbs.  The squirrel cage suction motor provides 465 CFM, the strongest suction in its class.  The variable speed, 1/2HP polishing motor runs from 0-3,600 rpm. Due to the shaft height of the polishing motor, please use with 4" or smaller buffs.  Comes complete with a 1/8" thick plastic hood shield measuring 6"Wx9"H and a work light socket for a 60W bulb (bulb not included).  Made in USA.
