This set of plastic insert hammers is the most versatile hammer set Fretz offers. They use replaceable nylon inserts for a variety of metal forming tasks from planishing to embossing to raising. While the heads of each hammer are heavy enough to move metal, the nylon faces won’t leave marks on your workpiece. . Fretz casts their hammer heads from 420 stainless steel and tool hardens them to 50 HRC. The handles are made from oiled hardwood shaped and weighted to balance the head perfectly. Hammers also sold individually. Made in Vietnam.
