The HMR-14A Raw Silk Raising Hammer from Fretz is a cross peen hammer created with a heavily ground face. The texture on the face allows you to create the rich texture of raw silk on your metal items. The rounded faces of this HMR-14A are best suited for working with concave forms. Consider the HMR-14 if your product has flat or domed surfaces. Fretz casts their hammer heads from 420 stainless steel and tool hardens them to 50 HRC. The handles are made from oiled hardwood shaped and weighted to balance the head perfectly. Made in Vietnam.
